Michelle Money’s ex Ryan gives update about Brielle’s ‘miracle’ recovery after revealing she’s talking again following traumatic brain injury

  • Brielle was hospitalized in March after falling on her skateboard without a helmet
  • She was put into a coma and was on life support following the accident
  • Earlier this week Brielle’s father revealed she was speaking again after being taken off a ventilator
  • Mom Michelle revealed she was taking a step back from social media last week

Michelle Money’s daughter is making a ‘miracle’ recovery from her serious skateboarding accident last month.

The Bachelor alum’s ex Ryan Money continued to update people about 15-year-old Brielle’s progress on his Instagram Thursday.

Talking about his daughter’s recent move to the ‘Neural Trauma Unit [NTU]’ of the hospital, the 39-year-old businessman wrote: ‘The improvement that Brielle has made in the last 4 days is nothing short of a miracle.’

His update came days after he revealed the Brielle was talking once more.

Miracle: Michelle Money’s ex Ryan says that their daughter is making a ‘miracle’ recovery from her traumatic brain injury following a severe skateboarding accident

The update was paired with a sweet video of Brielle playing with her little sister.

Ryan was astounded by how quickly his daughter began to bounce back, writing: ‘5 days ago she hadn’t moved for 2 weeks and had a breathing tube in. Now we are facetiming family members one after another until they get bored of us.’

He said that she was still sharp as ever, cracking jokes with the family during these digital hangouts.

‘Brie has not lost her sense of humor,’ her dad went on. ‘Just tonight Brie told her uncle Nick that her hair looked better than his and she has had staples and stitches (those coronavirus haircuts are tough)! We all got a good laugh out of that one.’

They’ve been keeping a mellow routine, as Ryan explained: ‘Brie and I cruised the hospital tonight before bed. I pushed the wheelchair but feel like she may have been able to push me. We got back to the room and she stood at the sink, brushed her teeth, and went right to bed.’

Thankful: Though the experience has been traumatic, Ryan (above with mask) was staying optimistic, telling followers: 'I am really starting to like this. While Michelle was giving detailed day-by-day updates to fans at first, she has now taken a step back from social media to focus on Brielle. She also said she wants to respect her daughter’s privacy at this time.

She shared a final Instagram post on Tuesday, explaining:  ‘I need to take a break from social media to allow myself to be fully in tune with my daughter and her needs.

‘She is going to be just fine! We are going to get thru this!’

‘I just feel strongly that I need to honor Brielle and her privacy right now. When and if she wants to share her powerful story- she will. And I will be there to support her either way,’ Michelle went on.
