The retired Australian cricket captain, 39, took a stroll through Sydney’s affluent suburb of Rose Bay on Monday with his four-year-old daughter, Kelsey Lee, who was riding along on a scooter.

Michael, who broke up with Pip because he didn’t like the media attention that came with their relationship, kept a low profile while spending time with Kelsey Lee.

Daddy-daughter time! Michael Clarke, 39, enjoyed a stroll with his daughter Kelsey Lee, four, in Sydney’s affluent suburb of Rose Bay on Monday – just days after news broke of his split from Pip Edwards

Obscuring his famous face beneath a cap and sunglasses, Michael wore an unassuming black Asics T-shirt, matchings shorts and sneakers.

He carried his belongings in a backpack, but chose to keep hold of his phone throughout the walk.

Meanwhile, Kelsey Lee looked like a living doll in her printed jumper, striped leggings and pink sneakers.

Hours before the outing, Michael uploaded a very intriguing social media post about wanting to be ‘home’.

Given the context of his recent split from Pip, Michael appeared to be hinting at a reunion with his ex-wife.

Rumours first emerged that Michael was dating Pip in February, shortly after Michael announced his split from wife-of-seven-years, Kyly.

The Clarkes ended their marriage in September, but didn’t announce their separation until five months later.

When news of a blossoming relationship surfaced, Michael and Pip both denied they were are anything more than friends.

They told Daily Mail Australia in February they had been friends for 12 years and were simply working on a project together.

Pip also insisted rumours of a romance were ‘absolutely unfounded and untrue’.

Michael’s personal assistant, Sasha Armstrong, also downplayed the whispers, which had been circulating across Sydney’s eastern suburbs for months.

‘Michael has known Pip for over a decade and is currently working with both Pip and Claire [Tregoning, co-founder of P.E Nation] on a special project,’ Sasha said at the time.
