Melissa McCarthy splashes out $2.4M on four-bedroom ranch-style home in LA’s San Fernando Valley

She’s a two-time Oscar-nominated actress.

And on Monday, Variety reported that Melissa McCarthy has splashed out $2.4 million on a four-bedroom, three-and-a-half bath home in LA’s San Fernando Valley. 

That’s in addition to a custom-built mansion in L.A.’s celebrity enclave of Toluca Lake she already owns with husband Ben Falcone.

McCarthy reportedly paid $200K more than the original asking price of $2.2 million for the 2,800-square-foot residence. 

The home, according to Variety, has a privacy hedge and is located on a tree-lined street of similarly well-kept homes.

The house, which is painted dark gray on the exterior, features hardwood floors and custom wall paneling.

The kitchen has an island breakfast bar as well as two-toned wood cabinets and high-end designer appliances. 

Across from the kitchen is a long dining bay for more formal meals.

The living area includes features a sliding glass door that opens onto the grassy backyard and patio. 

The master bathroom features dual vanities, a spacious glass shower and stand-alone bathtub.

One of the smaller bathrooms features bright white tile as well as teal Art Deco–style designs over the bathtub.  

The master suite located at the rear of the residence opens out onto the backyard. 

It has a high ceiling and two walk-in closets.
