Meg Mathews enjoys a cheerful dog walk with daughter Anaïs Gallagher in London

She recently revealed she suffered ‘terrible Post Traumatic Stress Disorder’ after the breakdown of her marriage with Oasis frontman, Noel Gallagher.

But that seems to be well in the past for Meg Matthews, who enjoyed a dog walk in London at the weekend with the daughter she shares with her ex, Anaïs, 20.

The former party girl, 54, who was married to the rocker between 1997 and 2001, strolled along in a summery ensemble, jovially chatting with her daughter.

Meg wore a flowing white blouse over some dove grey leggings, off-setting the neutral tones with bright red sandals.

She slung a black purse across her torso and added amber shades to the look.

She wore her blonde locks loosely around her features and navigated the family dog on a leash along the street of the Primrose Hill neighbourhood.

Anaïs was in-sync with her mother’s look in a white summer dress and a red belt clinched in at her waist.

Meg has recently explained that she felt like she had ‘no one’ to talk to as her relationship with Noel began to collapse.

She told The Mirror: ‘I came through the marriage, everything was public. At the end of the day I did not have the cog or the PR world that that person [Noel] had.

‘I was just the ex-wife, I had nobody. I didn’t know what to do. I didn’t have a press agent, wasn’t famous, I just had a daughter.

‘I used to get terrible PTSD. In 1997 I was the third most written about woman. It was Lady Diana, The Spice Girls and me.’

PTSD is a mental health condition triggered by a terrifying event which can cause symptoms such as flashbacks, nightmares and severe anxiety.

The wild pair divorced and Noel met his future wife, publicist Sara MacDonald, in an Ibiza club.

Earlier this week, Meg revealed she would regularly blow up to £4,000 a night on drugs and alcohol when she was married to the Wonderwall hitmaker.

Meg told The Sun: ‘Everybody would be in the room, drinking all the mini bar, calling loads of dealers – £3,000 later walking down the stairs with the mascara running down my face, a heel broken off my shoe and going home for what?

‘It would be £4,000 later. And for what? The walk of shame. But by the end you don’t care.’

She said of her party days: ‘I was maybe a bit aggressive. I was not the nicest. I was not a happy bunny. Always blackouts.’

She has since become a vocal advocate of women with menopause being given flexible working hours after she started going through her menopause at age 49.

Meg began to experience night sweats and crippling anxiety that at one stage made her reluctant to leave her house for three months.

And she admitted she was upset when the menopause caused her period to stop, although she always knew that she only wanted one child.
