She’s been working throughout the coronavirus lockdown period for her new show Peter Crouch: Save Our Summer.

And Maya Jama proved she’s very much the busy woman as she documented her day before heading to a photoshoot on Monday.

The TV and radio presenter, 25, uploaded a candid make-up free snap from bed as she revealed she was sleep deprived, before she jumped into a cab with a towel wrapped around her head.

The media personality displayed her naturally clear complexion as she admitted she hadn’t rested well because her ‘Sunday day nap’ messed up her sleeping pattern.

Insisting she’ll fight through her exhaustion, Maya said: ‘Usually my sleep deprived days usually turn out the best anyways.’

The broadcaster later prepped her tresses for her shoot by drying her hair with a grey towel.

After finally arriving at The Mandrake Hotel, the host appeared in great spirits as she sat in the hair and make-up chair.

After she stepped down from her Radio 1 show earlier this year, BBC bosses are reportedly keen to offer the brunette a big money deal to keep her from going to a rival network, believing she can be as ‘big as Holly Willoughby’.     

A source told The Sun: ‘Maya is seen as one of the biggest stars on the box right now and could easily go on to be as big as Holly Willoughby.

‘At the moment she’s tied to the BBC with her Saturday night show and the door remains open for her to return to Radio 1.

‘But other major channels would also love to have her so the BBC know they need to make sure they don’t lose her, she appeals to a younger audience and has a massive following on social media too so she ticks a lot of boxes for the BBC.’

Last month, BBC Radio 1 confirmed the DJ had ‘made the difficult decision not to continue her contract’ after two years due to other commitments.
