‘Their bromance is so heartwarming!’ MasterChef fans fawn over the friendship between Reece Hignell and Brendan Pang dubbing them ‘Breece’ – as they compete on opposing teams
On Monday night’s episode of MasterChef Australia: Back To Win, best friends Reece Hignell and Brendan Pang had to compete against one another.
The buddies were made captains of opposing teams, and there was plenty of banter between them, which fans watching at home could not get enough of it.
Reece, 28, warmly teased Brendan, 26, during the challenge, trying to throw him off his game.

‘Hey, Brendan, are you working? You’re just standing around, doing nothing. Probably done more than you. Are you ready to lose again?’ Reece joked.
The comments only caused giggles from Brendan, who cried out, ‘Oh-ho-ho!’ in friendly rivalry.
Brendan explained, ‘It’s difficult going head-to-head against Reece, my best friend in the competition. But there is a big fire in me to beat him today. Otherwise, I’ll never hear the end of it.’

Reece felt similarly, saying: ‘So, Brendan and I first met at the auditions in Season 10, formed a really good friendship. I think he’s an incredible cook. I respect him a lot. So, yeah, I’m a bit threatened by versing against my bestie today.’
Fans at home were loving the bromance between the pair, even giving them their own nickname – ‘Breece’.
