MasterChef Australia: Rose Adam returns to work at her café in Adelaide

Eliminated MasterChef contestant Rose Adam returns to work serving customers at her café in Adelaide

Eliminated MasterChef Australia contestant Rose Adam has wasted no time getting back to business at her café, The Middle Store.

The chef-turned-businesswoman served patrons at her Adelaide eatery on Saturday, as coronavirus restrictions eased in South Australia.

The Back to Win evictee runs the thriving café with her siblings, serving food inspired by her Lebanese heritage.

Locals were eager to return to the popular venue, as Rose served multiple patrons on tables spread further apart in accordance with social distancing rules.

Despite her MasterChef loss, Rose smiled happily as she brought out her Middle Eastern-inspired dishes.

She opted for a laid-back look in a longsleeve grey top and black pants, which she paired with a plain black apron.

Rose was sent home on an episode that aired earlier this month, after her recreation of the ‘pasta not pasta’ dish failed to impress the judges.

And during her elimination interview on The Project, Rose joked about never needing ‘to pee’ so badly in her final cook of the season.

While filming her final episode, Rose requested a ‘pee break’ while on camera.

When asked by The Project hosts whether she was allowed to leave the kitchen, she responded: ‘[I held on] for a while. They let me, which is really good.’

‘I have never needed the urge to pee more than I have when in MasterChef,’ she continued. ‘I don’t know why that is the reaction,’ she laughed.

Despite eventually being sent home, Rose had a warm message for the show, telling the contestants upon her exit: ‘I am a huge MasterChef fan.’

‘I’ve watched every single one of these guys in every one of their seasons.

‘So, it’s been amazing to actually make friends with them and connect with them, see you guys take the reins, which has been phenomenal,’ Rose said.

She continued: ‘Life is so good outside of MasterChef. I’m going back to my beautiful cafe. I’m happy, yeah.’
