Martha Stewart says she ‘waited in line with others’ as she received the coronavirus vaccine in New York on Monday.

The 79-year-old lifestyle personality appeared in a clip in which she received a shot in her upper arm from a doctor, which she told her followers she did not receive special priority for amid her wealth and celebrity.

‘I was vaccinated today in a designated vaccine pod near the Martha Stewart Center for Living at Mount Sinai Downtown,’ Stewart said. ‘To allay your concerns that I jumped the line know that I am in the approved age group for this batch of vaccines and I waited in line with others.’

Stewart expressed her gratitude toward medical personnel, saying she was ‘so proud of and grateful to the doctors, nurses and medical staff who are wading through the red tape and confusion of the distribution of these very important vaccines.’

Stewart said she was ‘excited to have received [her] dosage and [looks] forward to the booster.’

She added, ‘The doctors told me 10,000 applications were received by Mount Sinai right after the state released this batch of vaccines. Here’s to the advancement of science and a heartfelt thanks to those working on the vaccines. We are all hoping for an end to this pandemic.’

Stewart has spent the majority of the COVID-19 pandemic at her farm in Bedford, New York, where she films her latest show, Martha Knows Best.

Speaking to the Today show earlier this month, said she’s relaxed when she clears out the winter snow building up on her property.

‘I love to go out on the snowplow,’ she said, ‘because I like to just see what’s going on at the farm, first of all, and I love snow. I get lost out there, nobody can reach me, I can’t hear my phone. It’s so nice.’
