You know what they say, beauty is pain.
And Married At First Sight star Cathy Evans proved that to be true this week, showing off dark bruising around her eyes after getting a brow lift.
The 26-year-old logistics investigator posted a series of videos on her Instagram Stories, revealing the large marks on her skin.

‘So here is the skin without a filter and as you can see I have quite bad bruising from the brow lift that I had from Radiance Cosmetics,’ she explained in the video.
Cathy added pointing to her left eye: ‘This side particularly is a lot more intense and I’m pretty sure it’s because I sleep on this side.’
The reality star said that she has ‘naturally short brows’ and underwent a brow lamination for a lift.
The reality star was left with bruising and swelling from the procedure. ‘You can see I have quite bad bruising from the brow lift that I had from Radiance Cosmetics,’ she said
But to add an ‘extra lift’ and ‘angle the tail up’ on her eyebrows she she had a PDO thread lift.
The non-surgical procedure involves inserting a tiny dissolvable Polydioxanone thread into the face and pulling up the skin.
Cathy went on to reveal that the procedure left her with ‘some swelling and bruising.’

‘The swelling is going down but the bruising has stayed for probably about a week now,’ she added.
The blonde bombshell revealed in April that she was seeing someone new after splitting with her MAFS’ husband Josh Pihlak in March.
Speaking to Yahoo Lifestyle Cathy said that she feels like she has ‘hit the jackpot’ and that her new partner is her ‘dream man.’

‘He hadn’t known that I was on the show so it just sort of happened really organically,’ she said.
‘We finally made it official a few months ago. And life’s been good!’
Cathy revealed that the couple have been self isolating together amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
