‘A lot of people have mentioned Bachelorette’: Married At First Sight’s Stacey Hampton addresses rumours she’s tipped for a reality TV comeback

Married At First Sight’s Stacey Hampton is finally done with the show after the season finale on Sunday night.

But on Wednesday, the 26-year-old law graduate addressed rumours she will soon be looking for love on The Bachelorette.

During an Q&A video posted to YouTube, one of Stacey’s fans asked: ‘Would you go on another (reality) show?’

‘Give me a year to think about that. I need to get over this . I need a whole year to get over this and corona,’ Stacey replied.

‘But potentially. A lot of people have mentioned Bachelorette. I don’t know, we’ll see.’

If Stacey were to go on The Bachelorette, it would be the first time a MAFS contestant makes the move from Channel Nine to Channel Ten’s dating show.

It is not unprecedented for a Channel Nine personality to be the Bachelorette as Sophie Monk previously made the move in 2017.

WIN reporter Georgia Love was The Bachelorette while her network was transitioning from being affiliated with Nine to Ten.

Four out of the five previous Bachelorettes have also been blonde, which also plays into Stacey’s favour.

But most Bachelorettes have been recruited internally. Last year’s Bachelorette Angie Kent was recruited from Gogglebox Australia, which is another Channel Ten show.

Meanwhile, Ali Oetjen and Sam Frost had both previously appeared in the Bachelor franchise and were brought back.

While Stacey may not be returning to reality television for at least another year, she continues to have a presence online.

After amassing a large Instagram following, Stacey launched her YouTube channel last week.

She has already gained more than 7,000 subscribers after three video uploads.
