Married At First Sight fans thought they’d seen it all.
But it turns out there was plenty more drama behind the scenes on Channel Nine’s ratings juggernaut – even multiple couple swaps – that never made it to air.
On Wednesday, KC Osbourne confirmed this year’s season of the experiment had several couples swapping partners, in an attempt by producers to shake things up.

When asked by a fan whether reports were true that she had ‘gone on a date’ with ‘groom’ Jonethen Musulin, the 31-year-old was forthright.
‘We all did… It was set up by producers,’ she responded.
KC went on to reveal that her on-screen ‘husband’ Drew Brauer and Jonethen’s partner Connie Crayden also went on a date – but nothing came of it.
It comes after former brides Hayley Vernon and Natasha Spencer went rogue and revealed producers pressured the remaining couples to cheat in the final weeks of the experiment.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia last month, Natasha revealed KC was urged to go on a date with Jonethen Musulin because producers felt they had similar values.
‘KC and Jonny went on a date… they got partnered together and sent on a high-class date,’ said the 26-year-old financial analyst.
Hayley, 32, added: ‘All the remaining couples switched partners. It wasn’t just them.’

Natasha said that KC’s relationship with Drew Brauer didn’t work out because they only had a ‘sexual connection’ and ‘he was looking for something a little bit deeper’.
Married At First Sight was filmed in Sydney between September and December last year. The cast reunion took place in mid-January.
It comes amid reports KC is now dating Michael Goonan, who is paired with single mother Stacey Hampton on Nine’s social experiment.
