Earlier this week, the logistics investigator, 26, explained that Connie wasn’t the ‘shy, sweet girl’ the show made her out to be.

Speaking to Hit90.0’s Lise, Sarah, Dan and Ben on Monday, Cathy suggested Connie saw the other brides as ‘a threat to her’.

‘They didn’t showcase all of Connie. They showed her to be this shy, sweet girl, when for us girls, she wasn’t really like that,’ Cathy told the radio hosts.

She added: ‘She wasn’t shy. She had a mean girl motive.’

While Cathy didn’t reveal any particular ‘mean girl’ behaviour, she did point out Connie would flirt openly with the other grooms.

‘She was always with the boys and stuff. And she always wanted to stay away from the girls because they were a threat to her.

‘She’d be right in the middle of the boys and there was obvious flirting,’ Cathy recalled.

When asked whether Connie was a ‘pot stirrer’, Cathy agreed ‘100 per cent’.
