Married At First Sight couple Ivan Sarakula and Aleksandra Markovic tried to develop a closer physical connection with the help of a mindfulness coach on Tuesday’s episode.
And the 30-year-old real estate agent has since revealed what he was really thinking during the awkward-looking therapy session with his ‘wife’.
Speaking on Today Extra on Wednesday, Ivan gave the intimacy challenge a glowing review, saying it had really helped the newlyweds.

‘It’s something I never used to believe in, spirituality or anything like that,’ he said.
‘But I don’t know, I think if you let your guard down and just buy into the energy, it can work!’
Ivan explained that the eye-gazing technique had really worked for him and Aleks.

During Tuesday’s episode, Ivan seemed apprehensive about the new age therapy.
‘I don’t know what [the coaching] is going to entail,’ he said before their session.
Despite his initial reluctance, Ivan happily participated in the eye-gazing and non-sexual touching exercises.

Before their session, Aleksandra had joked that she would be ‘ready to pounce’ on Ivan if the intimacy challenge worked out for them.
