Married At First Sight’s intruder KC Osborne is a failed pop star

Married At First Sight’s intruder bride KC Osborne is a failed pop star and reality TV wannabe who has been trying to be famous for a decade

Married At First Sight will welcome a new intruder bride on Sunday in aspiring pop star Kasey ‘KC’ Osborne.

And when the 31-year-old graces screens later this week, it certainly won’t be the first time she’s been in the spotlight.

The Sydney-based beauty has been seeking fame for years, first as a pop star followed by a failed attempt at getting on reality television.

In 2010, KC moved to Los Angeles and signed a record deal with top forty hitmaker The Dream.

‘I’m going for a Kylie Minogue pop kind of thing,’ she told the Daily Telegraph at the time.

She also tried to launch an acting career, telling the Daily Telegraph that it was important to be successful in multiple fields to achieve true celebrity status.

‘I hope to have a whole album out and I hope to have already done a TV show or a film or something like that,’ she said in 2011.

‘You’ve got to be a triple threat, otherwise you’re not going to be that successful.’

In 2012, an unnamed source told the Daily Telegraph that KC would be a cast member on Channel 10’s The Hills-inspired reality series, The Shire.

However, the reports turned out to be untrue, as KC was suspiciously absent from the cast when the show went to air.

In the years since, the autotune enthusiast has continued to focus on her music, releasing the techno song Learn To Fly in 2013.

She also works as a dance teacher and has her own dance workshop.
