And Mark Scrivens shared a drastically different photo to Instagram on Tuesday, shocking fans with his self-described ‘hideous’ transformation.
The former Married At First Sight star, 42 said the surprising photo described ‘what 2020 has been like’.

Taking a close up selfie with googles, a swimming cap and an unkempt beard, the season six fan favourite was truly unrecognisable from the stylish man seen on the show.
Mark, who went on to find love with The Block’s Bianca Chatfield, posted the selfie to his Instagram, which boasts a respectable 89,400 followers.
‘If you had to use an old photo of me to describe what 2020 has been like to a time traveler that’s just arrived in this year… use this one,’ Mark joked.

He added the hashtags: ‘#hideous #whatthehell #hugehead #notmybest’.
Last year, Mark took over the Freelancer Cafe on Wellington Street in St Kilda, which has been a dream of his for a long time.
‘For me, it’s been a few years in the making,’ Mark told Daily Mail Australia in September.

Mark continued: ‘I’ve always liked the cafe environment. It’s relaxed, everyone likes going and I guess coffee is an addiction for some people.
‘I’ve just come from personal training, where you are up early and home late at night. It’s like I’ve bought a new lifestyle as well as the enjoyment of the new job.’
When asked if he’d contemplated using his Instagram audience to cash in as an influencer like many of his co-stars, Mark laughed loudly.

‘Look, they can do whatever they want! I went on the show for the right reasons and genuinely to meet somebody,’ he responded.
Mark, who ‘married’ Ning Surasiang in season six of MAFS, revealed his stint on reality television has unexpectedly helped his new venture, with many customers coming in for a coffee and a selfie.
‘This is a small little business and [viewers] have been coming to see me in a way and recognising me. It has been used to my advantage but I never set out for that,’ he explained at the time. ‘
