Married At First Sight has been rocked by the most shocking scandal in the history of the show.
At Wednesday’s dinner party, Hayley Vernon revealed that her husband David Cannon had scrubbed the toilet with her toothbrush to get her back for cheating on him with Michael Goonan.
The incident was so repulsive that it left the show’s relationship experts dry-heaving in horror as they watched it play out in front of their eyes.

Hayley dropped the bombshell after she was eviscerated by Michael’s wife Stacey Hampton for her part in the infidelity scandal.
‘I can’t let David get away with what he’s done,’ she told producers after the show’s other participants seemingly turned on her for cheating.
Pulling out the toothbrush, Hayley announced to the table: ‘What about the fact that David rubbed my toothbrush in a toilet!’
She then threw it at David, causing gasps across the table.

‘You put the toothbrush in a toilet and you filmed it! Somebody at this table has sent it to me, let me get my phone,’ she said before storming off to retrieve the footage.
‘One of your so-called mates sent it to me you dog!’ she screamed.
‘Wow, David has used Hayley’s toothbrush as a toilet scour,’ Michael said in shock. ‘I don’t think anybody deserves that, as much as I despise Hayley.’

Hayley returned to the table with the phone in hand and played the footage for the table, which left the show’s relationship experts visibly repulsed.
‘That is disgusting,’ Mel Schilling said as she gagged and dry-heaved. ‘That could make her very sick.’

Back at the dinner table, David attempted to defend himself by chalking the incident down to a ‘practical joke’.
‘My mates have done worse to me, because you know why? With practical jokes there is no limit,’ he said with a smile.
‘That’s not a joke that anyone that I know would play,’ Mishel Karen told producers.

She added: ‘That’s not a joke, I’m sorry. He needs to apologise for that. She did not deserve that.’
Mishel also confronted David at the table, shouting: ‘We saw that video of the toothbrush, that was not cool! Like seriously, am I the only normal person here?’
She continued: ‘I know she betrayed you, but so did [Michael]. Can you just apologise for it, for f**k’s sake?’
‘Her health could’ve been so damaged,’ Connie Crayden added. ‘He should apologise and I don’t know why he just won’t.’

David not only refused to apologise, but claimed that he had been ‘nothing but a gentleman’ to Hayley throughout the experiment.
Hayley eventually broke down at the dinner table, sobbing that the entire ordeal was ‘so embarrassing’ for her.

Attempting to calm her down, Mishel soothed: ‘You didn’t use it, so you’re fine.’
Through tears, Hayley sobbed: ‘I f**king did, you know I f**king did!’
Despite the tears and drama, David remained unrepentant over his actions and ended up leaving the dinner party early.
‘I am so done, it’s not funny,’ he told producers. ‘I heard enough.’
