She offers the priceless advice that can make or break couples on Married At First Sight.

But relationship expert  Mel Schilling says she could never cope with being a contestant on the show.

Nope! When asked by Stellar magazine this week if she’d ever try the Married At First Sight experiment, the show’s relationship expert Mel Schilling (pictured) insisted: ‘No way!’

She added that while she is impressed by the efforts of the contestants, it’s not for her.

‘I really admire the way they out themselves out there and take a very public chance on love,’ Mel said.

But as for herself, the psychologist admitted to the magazine: ‘I wouldn’t have the gumption!’

That may be sad news for Mikey Pembroke, who has a crush on the show’s relationship expert.

The 29-year-old appears to have a taste for older ladies – just like his TV bride Natasha Spencer, 26, has professed to be a fan of older men.

In an interview with Now To Love, the former North Shore schoolboy said that in a game of snog, marry and avoid, he’d, ‘Definitely marry Mel, Mel’s hot!’

He’s out of luck as Mel married her long term partner Gareth Brisbane in Bali back in 2018.

Mel told Stellar that she and Gareth actually met in a rather modern way – online dating.

‘I met my hubby on eharmony, so I was all over the online dating scene. Now I think I’d use Tinder for hook-ups, but IRL [in real life] for relationship material,’ she said.
