Married At First Sight’s first ever lesbian bride Amanda Micallef failed to find love on the controversial reality show.

And in the months after the social experiment wrapped filming, it seems she has realised her ‘ultimate goal in life’ – to be the next Ellen DeGeneres.

On Saturday, the 34-year-old the strength coach answered questions from fans on Instagram including one who asked: ‘What is your dream job?’

‘To be the next Ellen DeGeneres. That would be my absolute ultimate goal,’ she said. 

While it may take some time – and a stint as a stand-up comic – for Amanda to reach to Ellen’s level, the brunette has some other things to keep her busy in the meantime. 

‘I’m working towards public speaking, corporate coaching and living overseas,’ she added.

Amanda’s dream of one day hosting a top-rating talk show just like Ellen comes after she slammed Married At First Sight’s producers after her volatile pairing with Tash Herz on this year’s series.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia exclusively on Thursday, the bride claimed the show’s producers needed to do a ‘bloody better job’ in the future.

‘I really feel that the producers have to go back to the drawing board and honour the spirit of the show,’ she said.

‘You’re trying to match people, so in good faith of that, start doing deeper research around people that are potentially more compatible.

‘Understand that people’s cultural backgrounds really do make or break the ability of them being able to get along,’ she added.
