Married At First Sight: Hayley Vernon and David Cannon FORCED to leave show as Stacey Hampton sobs

Married At First Sight’s Hayley Vernon and David Cannon were forced off the show by relationship expert John Aiken during Sunday’s commitment ceremony.

After Hayley, 32, chose to remain in the experiment with David, 31, out of ‘spite’ and to punish him for cleaning the toilet with her toothbrush, John intervened.

Meanwhile, Stacey Hampton sobbed hysterically as she was made to spend another week Michael Goonan, who continued to deny drunkenly kissing Hayley.

As Stacey, 26, and Michael first sat down with the relationship experts, the 28-year-old businessman once again said that he had no memory of kissing Hayley.

His lack of honesty angered Mishel Karen, leading her to start screaming at him.

Mishel raged: ‘Michael, I’m not buying it! F**k me! Your making a fool of her and yourself. I’m bored s**tless listening to your bulls**t. It’s the same thing over and over again. You’re having a go at Hayley as if she stuck your tongue down her throat.’

Stacey then revealed she had decided to leave the experiment, before Michael explained that he wanted to stay, meaning they must remain together.

He said: ‘Stacey, I fell in love with you when we were on honeymoon. You are the girl I never thought existed, and you live half an hour away down the road.

‘I am sorry for what I’ve done and I’m sorry that I’ve betrayed your trust. I’m going to make it up to you anyway that I can this week.’

Things later turned even uglier as Hayley and David sat down in front of the experts.

'Keeping him here in handcuffs': Stacey Hampton (R) screamed to Hayley that 'no one likes her' - which lead to her then having her own argument with Steve Burley (L) who defended her

Disgusted at the toothbrush revenge act, John reprimanded: ‘David, we have frankly seen some appalling behaviour. There are boundaries that have been crossed.’

David responded: ‘I’ve been belittled for weeks and weeks, and I snapped. Am I proud of it? No. I sunk to a low. I apologise to Hayley for the toothbrush.’

Hayley refused to accept David’s apology, and went on to slam his behaviour.

As David then chose to leave the show, a ‘spiteful’ Hayley responded: ‘Well, you know what? I’ve said I’m going to stay because I’m enjoying this too much, babe.’

Her decision left the group gasping in disbelief and arguing among themselves.

‘Your husband can’t stand you! You’re keeping him here in handcuffs, spiteful! Leave him alone, you’re embarrassing everyone here! No one likes you,’ screamed Stacey.

Hayley hit back: ‘Calm down blondie! The reason I’ve wrote stay is because if he wants to do something like that to me, he can sit there for another week now and think about his actions before he gets to go home to his loved ones.’

Stacey then demanded Steve Burley ‘pipes down’ as he attempted to share his views, leading to the pair then having an argument between themselves.

Relationship expert John eventually stepped in, saying: ‘It is very, very unhealthy what you’ve got here. There are certain standards that we must adhere to.

‘I think also, it’s not in the spirit of the experiment for you to be staying to get back at your partner. With that being said, we’re going to send you back to the group and you both will leave the experiment – regardless of the decision you’ve written down.

‘This is a decision that we don’t take lightly, but we’re doing it because it is in your best interests, and this relationship is beyond repair.’
