Married At First Sight EXCLUSIVE: Mikey Pembroke picks up takeaway before missing THAT dinner party… as it’s claimed producers told him and ‘wife’ Natasha Spencer not to attend over mental health concerns

Married At First Sight star Mikey Pembroke was spotted picking up takeaway before missing the dinner party – that aired on the show on Wednesday.

In pictures taken on October 14 during filming, the 29-year-old operations manager can be seen grabbing some food from a delivery man before skipping the dramatic cast get together.

It comes after it was claimed this week that producers told Mikey and ‘wife’ Natasha Spencer, 26, not to attend the dinner party due to concerns over her mental wellbeing.

On the day, Mikey looked casual in black ripped jeans and a T-shirt, which he teamed with white shoes.

He appeared relaxed, despite what was going on behind the scenes.

Financial analyst Natasha was no where to be seen.

Mikey and Natasha were a no-show at the dinner party on Wednesday’s show.

It was explained during the episode that they wanted to avoid the ‘drama’ surrounding the other couples and focus on their own relationship.

But a source has since claimed that producers told them not to attend due to concerns over Natasha’s mental wellbeing.

‘It all got too much for her,’ an insider told Woman’s Day this week.

‘She wasn’t coping in the experiment and with what was going down between certain contestants. It was decided she shouldn’t be on camera.’

Senior producers elected to keep the 26-year-old financial analyst in her apartment while the other participants went to the dinner party.

Because she wasn’t attending, it was also decided that Mikey, 29, shouldn’t go either.

Meanwhile, another source claimed that production company Endemol Shine had arranged a holiday in Bali for Natasha to ‘clear her head.’

Before Wednesday night’s dinner party, Natasha explained that she and Mikey had decided to skip the event because they had ‘just started to fix things’.

‘This week’s for our marriage and the best thing that we can do right now is focus on ourselves, focus on our relationship and just remove ourselves from the drama,’ she said.

‘But it’s imperative for our relationship to avoid the drama… and just concentrate on us before we decide what we’re gonna do moving forward.’
