Married At First Sight’s David Cannon looked like a broken man when he finally quit the sho, left ‘wife’ Hayley Vernon and returned home to Melbourne last year.
The 31-year-old was comforted by co-stars before escaping producers by fleeing his apartment in Sydney via an underground exit on October 16.
His departure came after he cleaned the toilet with wife Hayley’s toothbrush, a ‘vile’ act of revenge after she kissed Stacey Hampton’s ‘husband’ Michael Goonan.

In Daily Mail Australia’s exclusive pictures, David appeared downcast during his final hours in Sydney after spending six weeks away from home filming the show.
He kept his head down during a lonely stroll to Woolworths, where he purchased a large energy drink, presumably hoping the sugar would perk him up.
David then had a coffee with co-stars Mishel Karen and Steve Burley, who embraced and comforted the truck driver.
