Married At First Sight couples shafted to give Stacey and Michael more airtime

Married At First Sight star Natasha Spencer revealed that not all of the couples will get closure in Sunday’s upcoming reunion episode.

The 26-year-old financial analyst told Daily Mail Australia that it was a shame that some couples weren’t able to get their moment on the couch with the relationship experts in Sunday’s episode.

‘I think it’s unfortunate that they didn’t put people like Josh [Pihlak] and Cathy [Evans] on the couch, which I thought was a shame because they stayed until so late in the end,’ she revealed.

‘I think everyone deserves that opportunity’: Married At First Sight’s Natasha Spencer revealed to Daily Mail Australia that not ALL couples will get a chance for closure in the final reunion which will air this Sunday

‘But I think there’s a lot of great resolution in the end,’ she said.

The brunette beauty said that the other couples had no idea that they wouldn’t get the chance to discuss their relationship and storyline going into the ceremony.

‘As the time kept going, all the couples were like “oh, we’re not going to get on [the couch]”… it was a realisation while filming,’ she explained.

Natasha said that for the couples, getting the opportunity to talk about their relationship with the experts was a chance to get closure.

‘You get to watch a little highlights reel, a behind-the-scenes, why the experts put you together and so I think everyone deserves that opportunity.

‘And they [producers] say we don’t have time to do everyone, but yet they’ve done some commitment ceremonies that go over two nights of filming,’ she added.

One couple that will get more than ample time on the couch with the experts is Michael Goonan and Stacey Hampton.

The couple’s relationship became strained when Natasha revealed Stacey had slept with her ex-husband Mikey Pembroke during the experiment.

‘Obviously Stacey and Michael they certainly face their fears and get a full frontal of opinion,’ the brunette beauty said.

‘I don’t know what’s coming, but they sat on the couch for a long time,’ she added.

This comes after Natasha confirmed that Michael has moved on with KC Osborne, who was married to Drew Brauer on the experiment.

She told Nova’s The Babble with Matty J podcast on Thursday, that the new couple are getting ‘serious’.

‘As far as I know, KC is moving down to Melbourne [from Sydney] to live with Michael,’ she continued.

The brunette beauty went on to reveal the reasons why she believes the couple are very much together.

‘I’ve seen photos of them having lunch at Nobu. One of Stacey [Hampton’s] friends lives in the [Crown] Towers, so they got snapped up there,’ she said.

Married At First Sight concludes Sunday at 7:00pm on Channel Nine
