It comes after Marnie told OK! Online that her staggering weight loss is down to adopting a special sugar-free diet rich in greens in order to combat a chronic UTI.

Marnie said: ‘I couldn’t eat anything with sugar in, and everything’s got sugar in. My doctor was like: “Look, you’ve had no immune and antibiotics aren’t really the best thing to…”

‘They get rid of all the good bacteria. The best thing about fighting this [chronic UTI] is your own immune. So, your immune system needs to be the best it can be.

‘So she [Marnie’s specialist] told me to cut out all sugar, drink loads of water, eat loads of fruit, eat loads of greens – which I’ve never done in my life.’

Brunette beauty Marnie told the magazine she now weighs less than she did before she got pregnant last year.

Marnie suffered from the enduring bladder condition before getting pregnant and the condition made the reality star’s 28-hour labour even more gruelling.

The media personality shared that she was in considerable discomfort before going into labour as Rox waited 12 days after his due date to make his debut appearance.

Not only was the birth overdue, it was also a traumatic delivery for Marnie, who lost two pints of blood and had to undergo two blood transfusions during the delivery.

While Marnie and X Factor star Casey were overjoyed to welcome their son into the world on 29 October 2019, Marnie has discussed turning to a surrogate in the future.

Speaking to OK! online in a separate interview, Marnie, 28, said her birth experience has ‘put her off’ giving birth naturally all together.

She told the publication: ‘I’ve genuinely spoken about surrogacy, that’s how much it put me off. The pregnancy was fine. Everything started to just go downhill towards the end.

‘But, the birth was so… I’ve honestly not been the same person since it. I really haven’t. I’ve suffered with major anxiety.

‘I am gradually getting better but, I’m just not the same – it’s strange. I think it was genuinely traumatic – that’s the only way I can describe it. I’ve been traumatised because of it.’

The star also shared an emotional Instagram post, accompanied by a photo with her son, where she revealed it had taken her a ‘really long time’ to recover from the birth.

She began: ‘Excuse the state of me, I’m really not glamorous at the moment! But just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who has showed support for me, Casey & baby Rox.

‘We are overwhelmed with the love you have all shown, everyone is aware I haven’t been active on Instagram lately, mostly because it’s taken me a really long time to recover from the birth.

‘It was a extremely hard birth and labor, I lost 2 pints of blood and had 2 blood transfusions so it’s taken me a little longer to feel normal again’.

‘Rox is such a beautiful, healthy baby and that’s the main thing! I still can’t believe how I’ve managed To make such a perfect little boy, he amazes me!’ (sic)
