Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan ‘fear they’re being targeted after thieves stole Range Rover’

Mark Wright and his wife Michelle Keegan fear they’re being ‘targeted by criminals’ after their £65,000 Range Rover Sport was stolen from their driveway.

Sources claim the couple are convinced thieves had been watching them as they knew exactly when the gates to their Essex home would be open to steal the vehicle.

On Monday Mark, 33, appealed for help from his followers after his Range Rover was stolen from the driveway of the home he shares with wife Michelle, 33, but later revealed it had been recovered 20 minutes away.

Concerned: Mark Wright and his wife Michelle Keegan reportedly fear they’re being targeted by criminals after their £65,000 Range Rover Sport was stolen from their driveway

A source told The Sun: ‘Mark and Michelle fear that they were targeted and the thieves drove past their house several times over a few days before spotting the gates were left open.

“It would be too much of a coincidence that it was a random robbery – someone had to be keeping an eye out for the gates to be left open.’

MailOnline has contacted representatives for Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan for comment.

On Monda Mark took to Twitter to blast the ‘unbelievable’ culprit as he revealed his Range Rover Sport had been taken from the driveway while he was at home.

He tweeted to his 2.7 million fans: ‘If Anyone sees a black Range Rover sport in the Chigwell area heading away from Abridge number plate ET68LVO please tweet me.

‘Just this second stolen off my drive whilst we are home. Unbelievable.’

Luckily for the star, just an hour after his initial appeal he was able to share some good news with his worried fans and reveal the vehicle had been found.

Announcing the positive turn of events, Mark tweeted: ‘Car has now been found 20mins away.

‘Thank you to @MetaTrakUK @metpoliceuk @EssexPoliceUK for your incredible work. Thank you to all the people who tweeted and showed support. X’

A source told The Sun: ‘Mark accidentally left his gate unlocked and that’s when the car was stolen.

‘But, the car has a tracker on it – Mark’s already found it in Ilford so will have it back within the hour.’

Mark recently joined pal Olly Murs, 36, as they starred in their own version of last year’s Gavin and Stacey Christmas trailer – albeit with a Covid-19 twist.

The original saw Smithy (James Cordon) encourage his pal Gavin (Matthew Horne) to ‘step into Christmas’, with the duo then proceeding to dance along to the Christmas classic alongside Pamela (Alison Steadman) and Mick (Larry Lamb).

However, Olly and Mark’s version differed slightly as Olly arrived at Mark’s house with beers hoping to celebrate the festive season with him.

After they made pandemic-related jokes about keeping their distance and washing hands, Olly attempted to make his way inside while singing Step Into Christmas, but was blocked by Mark.

As Olly said that they were allowed to mix with three households and had therefore chosen Mark, the reality star sadly informed his friend that he had already formed bubbles with his own large family and couldn’t include Olly.

The scene ended with Mark telling his crestfallen pal that they could maybe socialise next year, with Olly walking away sadly.

Despite disappointing Olly, Mark and his wife Michelle Keegan had certainly been getting into the Christmas spirit recently, having put up their Christmas decorations over a month before the festive celebration.

The pair – who have been married since 2015 – documented their festive makeover on social media last month.

Their festive fun saw them showcase everything from the delivery of a gigantic tree, to the decorating of it to the impressive finished product.
