They were kept apart because of state border closures amid the coronavirus pandemic, but Elizabeth Sobinoff and Seb Guilhaus are finally back together.

After reuniting in late June, the couple – who were paired together on this year’s Married At First Sight – were finally able to move in together as they’d planned.

Appearing on podcast Fashion Avenue on Thursday, Lizzie, 29, spoke about what it’s been like living with her boyfriend of just over seven months.

‘I mean, it’s just normal to get frustrated with everyone,’ she confessed, but Lizzie said overall she was ‘loving’ living with Seb, 31, in Sydney.

She added: ‘I’m actually in such a great place in my life at the moment. He’s just amazing! And it’s that bonding.’

Lizzie explained she’d been staying with Seb at his home in Adelaide before the state borders closed came into place, and she was forced to return to Sydney for work.

She said they ultimately ended up spending three months apart, staying connected through ‘constant texting’.

‘Just having nothing, that was hard. I did not enjoy one moment of that,’ she admitted, adding that they ‘really worked’ on their relationship.

Despite now living together, Lizzie said she and Seb are ‘talking it slow’ and are ‘getting to know each other through thick and thin’.
