They’ve been in lockdown in separate states, and Elizabeth Sobinoff and Seb Guilhaus have admitted the distance has taken a toll on their relationship.

In an interview with 9Now on Wednesday, the former Married At First Sight stars confessed that being apart has been ‘really, really tough’.

‘We were living together from the get-go, and then we were living together for a week-and-a-half, then away from each other for a week-and-a-half, but now nothing,’ Lizzie, 29, explained, adding, ‘It’s been really, really tough.’

Lizzie described herself and Seb, 31, who she was paired with on this year’s season of MAFS, as being very ‘physical’.

She said their lack of a physical relationship at the moment is ‘not easy’, but Seb insisted the distance has made them better at communicating.

‘[Prior to this], we had no phone game at all,’ he explained.

Seb is currently based in Adelaide, while Lizzie lives in Newcastle on the New South Wales Central Coast, with state border closures keeping them apart during the coronavirus pandemic.
