MAFS’ Amanda thinks COVID-19 ‘is a cover-up for a much larger agenda’

‘It’s one big cover-up!’ Married At First Sight’s Amanda Micallef urges people to defy the COVID-19 lockdown and social distancing rules as she peddles a false conspiracy theory about 5G

The COVID-19 pandemic has claimed 51 lives and infected 6,089 people in Australia as of Thursday morning.

But Married At First Sight’s Amanda Micallef believes the pandemic is just part of a conspiracy to ‘cover up’ a much larger agenda.

The 34-year-old personal trainer has been urging people to defy the government’s coronavirus lockdown and social distancing rules by staging public protests.

She has encouraged others to defy Scott Morrison's rules on social distancing and self-isolation

Amanda has made numerous posts in the ‘Stop5G Victoria’ Facebook group, which is opposed to the 5G network over health concerns about radiation.

There is no scientific evidence linking 5G technology to the coronavirus pandemic.

‘For those of you who don’t know who I am, I’m Amanda from MAFS 2020. I’m ready to put my rep on the line because I’m sick and tired of house arrest and ready to protest! WHO’S IN?’ read her first post in the group.

‘Im talking camera crews, journos, hundreds of people! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH THEY CAN’T LOCK US LIKE THIS WHEN WE KNOW THEIR AGENDA. Any ideas on where to protest would be great.’

Bad idea: Amanda has urged fellow 5G conspiracy theorists to stage public protests. If she was to do this, she could be fined $1,650 by police under Victoria's strict lockdown laws. Pictured with Tash Herz on Married At First Sight

When one group member questioned Amanda’s ‘rep’, she fired back: ‘I’ve just come off Australia’s most influential TV show. It’s not rocket science, bud.’

In another post, Amanda explained she had lost her job as a personal trainer, which was why she was so ‘passionate’ about defying lockdown laws and protesting.

‘Because of this bulls**t virus I’ve lost my job, I’m house bound and I’ll be f**ked if I’m gonna lay down and let it rest,’ she wrote.

Amanda later revealed she had postponed the protest and was instead focusing on raising awareness online.

Don't you know who I am? When one group member asked Amanda why she was being so outspoken, she fired back: 'I've just come off Australia's most influential TV show'

She is now urging like-minded people to join her group chat called ‘The People’s Collective’ on messenger app Telegram, after she faced a backlash from the ‘Stop5G Victoria’ Facebook group.

‘I’m against coronavirus and I think it’s one big cover-up for a much larger agenda. I’m very much team David Icke,’ she wrote, referencing the English conspiracy theorist best known for believing that lizards control the Earth.

‘There won’t be a protest if and until the timing is right. For now this group is a legal entity, they’re collecting evidence, and producing flyers now to reach out to the public to start to help them question what’s really happening.’
