Madonna is still on the mend after sustaining a knee injury on tour back in February, before the COVID-19 virus started spreading more rapidly.

The 61-year-old singer suffered a knee injury during a performance during her Madame X show at Le Grand Rex in Paris in late February, forcing her to cancel several performances.

The singer was in the midst of her 12-night residency at Le Grand Rex in Paris when she fell off a chair and suffered an injury to her knee, which she had previously injured and was even seen using a cane to walk.

A friend of someone who saw the injury happen said on social media, ‘A friend who attended @Madonna Thursdays show told me that at the end of Vogue, she missed the chair and fell on the floor.’

The show was part of an all-theatre tour started on September 17, 2019, in New York City, and was set to conclude on March 11, in Paris.
