Machine Gun Kelly’s Aston Martin recovered after the car was ‘stolen’

Machine Gun Kelly’s Aston Martin has been recovered after the British sports car was allegedly stolen from his own driveway.

LAPD officers found the car abandoned in the driveway of a house, nearly one week after it was first reported missing, law enforcement sources told TMZ.

The flashy vehicle was first spotted by officers late Sunday night, when they saw someone driving by their patrol car in the Aston Martin. 

While the officers were unable to track it down in that moment, they did find it later in the driveway of the house.

The engine was still running, but no one was around by the time the officers found it.

Officers subsequently impounded the car, which they said was ‘still in good shape’.  

Interestingly, it was the rapper’s former neighbor Jeff Lewis who revealed the car had been stolen.

Jeff recently received a call from the current owner of his old house, who was attempting to find security footage of the incident.  

‘I got a call from the new owner of Valley Vista. We’re friendly. We’re great. We really love each other, whatever,’ he said on the SiriusXM Radio Andy show, Jeff Lewis Live.

‘So, she called me up and she said, “Jeff, we got a problem.” She goes, “Do you know how to rewind the cameras?” And I said, “Well, I don’t, but call Brett, the AV guy.” And she’s like, “OK, because Machine Gun Kelly’s car got stolen.” His Aston Martin.’

‘Yeah, Colson’s car got stolen. You don’t leave an Aston Martin in the driveway in Los Angeles,’ the HGTV star added of Kelly, whose real name is Richard Colson Baker. 

Unfortunately, Jeff’s cameras were not positioned to capture the theft.

Theft aside, it has overall been a successful year for Machine Gun Kelly.

The rapper released his rock album, Tickets To My Downhall, to smash success earlier this year.
