She’s adjusting to life as a new mother after welcoming her first child two weeks ago.

And Lydia Bright has now revealed why she decided to name her baby girl Loretta Rose, sharing a moving tribute to her grandparents.

The 29-year-old former TOWIE star explained that her late grandfather Romano hailed from Loreto, Italy, while her grandmother is called Maureen Rose.

Lydia uploaded a black and white picture of her grandparents on their wedding day, emerging from the church hand-in-hand.

The TV personality captioned the image: ‘Romano Croia from Loreto, Italy and Maureen Rose from Ireland.  My favourite people in the world, my grandparents on their wedding day.

‘Growing up I loved nothing more than being with these two. So I wanted to name my first born with them in mind, Loretta Rose.

‘I wish my granddad was still alive to meet his great granddaughter he would be the same as my Nan, absolutely obsessed.’

Her fans were quick to express their thoughts on her post, enthusing what a wonderful way it was to remember her late grandfather.

One posted, ‘Love it when there’s some history tied to a name. Wishing Loretta Rose a long, happy & healthy life filled with live & happiness’.

Another shared, ‘What a lovely way to honour your grandparents’, while a third commented, ‘Beautiful tribute, Lydia you have got your grandma smile (sic)’. 

Lydia recently admitted the birth wasn’t all plain sailing after she ‘freaked out’ when she went into early labour.

She uploaded the picture alongside a caption that read: ‘Everyone including myself thought I was going over my due date.

‘So when I went into labour early I freaked out as I hadn’t completed the long list of ‘things to do’ on my phone.

‘Contractual work still outstanding, my home renovation still not finished, shoot days in the diary.

‘Since Loretta has arrived life has been pretty crazy trying to juggle the list, as well as all the guests and trying to be the best mum I can be.

‘But today I have switched off, shut the door and it’s been just me and my baby in our brand new bed.’  

Lydia recently told HELLO! magazine that Loretta is a ‘dream child’ and that she is ‘still on a massive high’ after giving birth.

‘I’m not even struggling with the sleep!’ she said. ‘I’m loving the night feeds.

‘That’s my favourite time. I sit there breastfeeding and I just stare at her. I definitely feel like I’ve been blessed with a dream child.’

Lydia also revealed she is working on rekindling her relationship with car garage owner Lee Cronin, who she had dated for two years prior to splitting shortly after she fell pregnant.
