She made headlines earlier this month when she accused popular Instagram account Celeb Spellcheck of ‘bullying’ influencers by correcting their typos.
But Love Island Australia star Tayla Damir has apparently since changed her opinion on the importance of spelling and grammar.
The model and WAG, 23, told the Shameless podcast on Monday she takes pleasure in correcting poorly spelled messages sent by online trolls.

‘I don’t usually respond [to trolls], but the ones that have so many spelling errors, I feel like it’s my human duty just to tell them,’ she said.
‘If you’re going to send me a hate message, at least spell “you’re” right!’
Tayla said she’d received a ‘horribly spelled hate message’ the night before the interview, but chose not to retaliate.

‘So, I had just corrected all their spelling, and I thought it was the funniest thing in the world, and my dad was like, “Don’t respond to them, Tayla,”‘ she said.
Unsurprisingly, Tayla’s remarks caught the attention of Celeb Spellcheck, who had called her out earlier this month for misspelling the word ‘tournament’.
At the time, Tayla hit back at the popular Instagram account by penning a lengthy rant in which she accused the anonymous admin of ‘opening up the door for bullies’.

But it was a case of sweet revenge for Celeb Spellcheck, who reposted Tayla’s rant as well as a clip from her Shameless podcast interview on Monday.
‘A few weeks ago, Tayla posted this in response to being featured on this page. I didn’t respond, but made the decision not to feature her again as she obviously didn’t appreciate it,’ Celeb Spellcheck wrote.
‘Swipe to listen to her hypocritically saying it’s her “human duty” to correct other people’s spelling.’

Tayla promptly retaliated, writing a lengthy rant on Instagram about cyber bullying and encouraging fans to think twice about following pages like Celeb Spellcheck.
‘I am all for a bit of a laugh and fun, but this account opens the door for straight up bullying,’ she wrote.
The former Miss Universe WA finalist also defended her spelling mistake, explaining that she is ‘slightly dyslexic’.
