Love Island stars learn the tango ahead of attending prom night

They have survived multiple dumpings and eliminations to make it to the final of this year’s Love Island.

And in scenes set to air on Sunday night’s show, the remaining islanders tasked with learning the tango before the final prom night.

In the live final, fans will be able to watch back highlights of each of the four finalists’ journeys, best bits of the series before the prom and the islanders declarations of love.

The group are thrilled when they receive a text that reads: ‘Islanders, tonight you will all attend the Love Island Prom. It’s now time to bruhs up on your dance moves.’

A male and female dancer then enter the villa to help the group learn the tango before their prom.

Paige and Finn looked to be picking up the moves quickly as the footballer arched his back and extended his arm to mimic a dance pose during their lessons.

Meanwhile, Jess says she hopes her and Ched can ‘pull it out of the bag’, with Ched proclaiming: ‘I’m not hoping, we will pull it out of the bag.

The boys also go to write their declarations of love, with Luke T working on a poem until he struggles to come up with something that rhymes with Siannise.

He comes up with ‘fleece’, with Ched helping him to come up with the rhyme: ‘You wore my heart like a fleece, dear Siannise.’  

The girls go to the pool to write their declarations with Jess worrying she will say something heartfelt to Ched only for him to say he thinks she’s a good dancer.  

The boys then got suited and booted for the evening as they all lined up in matching tuxedos, waiting to the joined by the ladies.

Demi and Luke M, Jess and Ched, Paige and Finn and Siannise and Luke T all stand a chance of being crowned series six champions. 

A live audience will be in the villa with each couple interviewed by host Laura Whitmore before the winner is crowned.

It comes after Mike and Priscilla became the final couple dumped from the villa ahead of the final  on Friday’s show. 

Luke M received a text which revealed the public have been voting to save their favourite couple, and those with the least votes would be dumped that night. 

The safe couples were revealed in no particular order as the contestants received texts to make them aware of the couples who would be in the final.

Paige and Finn were the first couple to be saved, followed by Jess and Ched, Siannise and Luke T and finally Luke M and Demi.

After leaving the show, Mike detailed his plans to move to London and how he thinks he many have found a lifelong partner in Priscilla.

When asked how it feels to leave with Priscilla by his side, he said: ‘It feels good. I came in hoping I was going to find someone I could spend the rest of my life with and potentially I feel like that’s where I’m going with Priscilla.

‘We’re excited. We’ll see what the world has to offer us.’

Detailing how they’ll make it work on the outside, he said: ‘My plan was always to move to London, which I will do.

‘We’ll meet family again and friends and catch up, settle back into reality. But my move down to London makes it easier for the two of us.’

During the exit interview, Priscilla admitted that she didn’t think she would leave the show with a boyfriend and is surprised to be able to call Mike her boyfriend.

She said: ‘I said to Mike the other day, “I’ve got a boyfriend!” I didn’t expect to find someone, I thought I may walk out of this single. So to have a boyfriend – who asked me in front of the world – it was so surreal but I’m happy it’s Mike.’

Discussing their love story, she said: ‘He definitely looks good, for one. Even though he was in different situations, he was always honest and straight up about it.

‘Honesty goes a very long way for me, as well as transparency. When we met in person it was like we always knew each other. 

‘It just felt so relaxed. ‘His eyes were set on me. From the start he has been so transparent and he’s only had eyes for me.’  

The final of Love Island airs on Sunday at 9pm on ITV2.
