The reality stars captured the hearts of the nation when they fell for each other in the South African villa on the show, finishing in second place.

Months after their much-loved stints, the pair now live in a swanky new apartment complex in south-west London.

Sportsman Luke compared their time on the ITV2 dating series to facing real life as he told us: ‘When you come out, you deal with real challenges.

‘We’ve definitely gotten closer. Since we’ve come out, we’ve gotten better and better. We’re still passionately into each other, I don’t know when the honeymoon phase ends.

‘It’s been crazy because in lockdown. We lived with my parents for a bit, there was six of us and it was hectic. We also moved house without even viewing the place, but luckily we lived it.’

‘When you’re in the villa, they throw bombshells in there to split you up but I suppose it’s easier in there than everyday life. That’s why a lot of people have probably split up after they’ve come out. We’re just happy.’

Despite only dating for five months, the hunk didn’t hesitate when asked about the prospect of taking the next step.

He said: ‘We’re both at that age now when we’re thinking about marriage and starting a family, my parents got married at 24 and Siannise’s parents had her when they were 26 and 27.

‘That’s definitely something we both want and our main priorities in life. We’re not really interested in fame and money as much.’

The Luton native joked he’d like the Bristolian beauty to pop the question, adding: ‘I always say it’s her turn to do something next if she wants to propose [laughs].’

Love Island has been responsible for providing many former contestants with fruitful careers in entrepreneurialism, social media influencing and TV.

While Luke revealed he’d like to venture into fashion, the TV star insisted ‘money and fame are just bonuses’ for the duo.

The media personality elaborated: ‘If I’m honest, I didn’t think I’d find love. I just went on the show to have fun, but after finding her, we’ve said that anything that comes work wise is just a benefit.

‘As long as we have each other, whatever comes after that is a bonus. We weren’t on it to get money and fame.’

In April, Luke and his girlfriend shocked fans when they admitted they’ve only spent one hour apart since leaving the villa.

The Darlington F.C. right wing back confessed not much as changed as he said: ‘Since living together, we’ve gotten more alone time and been able to have a bit more fun, but we can’t be as sociable with others due to the lockdown.

‘We’re quite both enjoy our own company, even before we met each other. Saying that, I had some work the other day for two to three hours, but other than that, we don’t really spend that much time away from each other.

It’s gone so quick, but that might change as we’re allowed to see friends.’

On adjusting to fame and its effect on his mental health, Luke said he’s used to scrutiny due to his football career, but admitted Siânnise has gotten ‘a bit upset’ over negative comments.

‘I think because I’ve come from football where people shout at you while you play and have their opinion on you, I’m used to it’, he explained.

‘People now have an opinion about every single part of your life, but I just take it as I never really read the comments. It does get challenging, sometimes Siânnise maybe gets a bit upset about some negative comments.

Elsewhere in the interview, the TikTok sensation touched on his next career moves, revealing he’d like to return to the pitch and also complete his university degree.

He said: ‘I would get back into football, but I really want to get into fashion. I’m also finishing my degree as I’ve only got a year left.

‘I’m studying Banking, Finance and Management at Loughborough University, which I’m going to try and do long-distance. Lucky times for me as I hear many universities are doing classes virtually due to coronavirus.’
