Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards manages to make a bathrobe look glam as she stars in ‘PERi PERi’ campaign for Nando’s
She was named after acclaimed singer Steve Perry from the band Journey.
Now, Perrie Edwards is putting her unusual name to good use as she features in an advert for Nando’s to promote their home delivery service and their aptly named ‘PERi PERi’ chicken.
The Little Mix star, 27, was unveiled as the new face of the Portuguese-African food franchise last week.

She made a surprise appearance in the advert that featured her waiting for a young delivery man to hand over her parcel.
The ad shows Perrie opening the door to receive the parcel in a white dressing gown and being taken aback by the socially awkward visitor.
Her highlighted blonde locks were swept over to the side in an effortless loose wave.

The singer’s statement eyebrows and freckles were on full display as she opted for a natural makeup look and subtle rose-coloured lipstick.
The parcel boy stares in awe at the ‘PERi’ box that he was delivering, a reference to Perrie’s unusual name but also a reference to the eatery’s signature flavouring.

The advert also announced the restaurant’s very own delivery service.
Their food has been available for delivery on other platforms in the past such as Deliveroo, but they have decided to take control of the door-to-door process by offering their own service.
A source previously told The Sun of the collaboration: ‘Perrie is an obvious fit for Nando’s.

‘She’s young and popular and loves the brand. She shot an advert for the restaurant on Friday morning – which means she would have had to have an early night on Thursday which isn’t the best timing with Liverpool winning the league.
‘But she’s a consummate professional and takes work very seriously so she will get to celebrate properly this weekend with Alex.’
