She is one of Australia most popular actresses who also happens to be a busy single mother to three children.

And this week, Lisa McCune revealed the very unusual co-parenting arrangement she shares with ex-husband Tim Disney.

‘We all live on one property so we’re here for the kids – we have to because our work is so all over the place,’ she told the Australian Women’s Weekly.

She added: ‘Tim and I are very much dual parenting. We are all over them as parents. I think it takes two people a lot of the time.’

The four-time Gold Logie winner, 49, insisted there was no tension in the household, saying: ‘As a family, we’re talking a lot. I’m insisting everybody have dinner together.’

Lisa and Tim first met on the set of police drama Blue Heelers. She starred as Constable Maggie Doyle and he worked as a props handler.

They married in the year 2000 and went on to welcome three children, sons Archer, 18, and Oliver 16, and daughter Remy, 14.

While it is not known when or why the pair split, Lisa made headlines in 2012 when she was spotted kissing her South Pacific co-star Teddy Tahu Rhodes.

It comes after the How To Stay Married star told the Herald Sun earlier this month that living with three teenagers can be a lot to manage.

‘I have three teenagers who don’t particularly really want to hear anything that I have to say, they’re just interested in their friends!’ she said.

‘They have been spending far too much time gaming and watching series and their online life is very strong.

‘And there’s complaints about how much internet we have got at certain times.’
