Talinda Bennington, the widow of the late Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington, has filed for divorce from her current husband after one year of marriage.
The 44-year-old model filed her divorce petition Wednesday in Los Angeles County Court, according to TMZ.
She tied the knot with an LA County firefighter, Michael Fredman, to celebrate New Year’s Eve 2019 in Hawaii.

The couple were married at the Turtle Bay Resort on the island of Oahu.
Talinda shared the news on Instagram days before filing her petition in a simple text post.
‘I am ready to announce that Michael and I have decided to move forward with our lives as friends,’ she wrote.
‘Divorce is never easy, but in our case it is for the best. We have remained good friends and he continues to be an important part of my children’s lives.’

Chester died by suicide on July 20, 2017, at age 41.
