Kelly Macdonald has been busy shooting scenes for Line Of Duty’s sixth season following a return to work amid the coronavirus pandemic.
And she was spotted on location in Belfast on Tuesday as Detective Chief Inspector Joanne Davidson, sharing a joke with her co-stars between takes.
Joined on set by fellow copper Perry Fitzpatrick, Kelly was decked out in police garb and larking around with a telescope-type contraption.

But Kelly, 44, couldn’t seem to grasp how to work the equipment, bursting into laughter.
She was then seen in character, looking serious as she walked through the housing estate, cautiously scanning the scene.
They have resumed filming series six of popular police drama Line Of Duty after the coronavirus outbreak halted shooting the programme earlier this year.

And Vicky McClure and her co-star Martin Compston appeared to be back in the thick of the action as they shot scenes for the upcoming series on Monday.
Vicky, 37, who plays Detective Inspector Kate Flemming, was spotted wearing a police vest as she strolled down a street in Belfast where filming is taking place.

Underneath her vest Vicky wore a khaki coat, which was teamed with a pair of black skinny jeans and leather boots.
It appeared that Vicky was taking a break from shooting a scene as she also sported a checked face mask in accordance with coronavirus regulations.

Earlier this month Line Of Duty fans claimed to have pointed out a ‘huge spoiler’ after show creator Jed Mercurio shared a snap from filming.
The writer, 54, took to Twitter to share a collection of photos of DS Steve Arnott, Ted Hastings, played by Adrian Dunbar, and DI Kate Fleming, as they playfully posed on set.
Yet eagle-eyed fans were quick to point out that DS Steve Arnott had lost his ‘sergeant stripes’ from his uniform as they questioned whether he had been demoted or was going undercover.

Show creator Jed thanked fans for their ‘patience’ and assured that the cast and crew are aiming to have the sixth season back on air ‘as soon as possible’.
