Leighton Meester looks serene in bodysuit as she hits the waves for a day of surfing in Malibu alongside husband Adam Brody
The winter chill of Los Angeles was no match for the wills of Leighton Meester and husband Adam Brody when they headed out for an afternoon of surfing.
Like they have done regularly over the last couple of months, the couple hit the waves in Malibu on Monday with the help of their tight black wetsuits.
The pair followed each other — sometimes side-by-side — while out on the surf as the temperatures hovered around 55 degrees Fahrenheit.

With a big beaming smile across her face, the Gossip Girl alum looked to be in her element when she made her way across the sand with her surf board in tow.
She also didn’t seem to mind the less-than summer temperatures from the looks of her sleeveless wetsuit that left all of her arms, feet, and part of her chest bare.
The Texas native, 34, made sure to pull her long brown tresses back into a ponytail during their time on the beach.

It turns out Brody turned the Single Parents star on to surfing in late 2018, and she has since incorporated it into her main form of exercise for both the body and mind.
In an interview with Shape in March 2019, Meester revealed surfing has become sort of ‘a spiritual experience’ for her and that she finds it to be ‘so fulfilling.’
Meester is still only about three-and-a-half months out from giving birth to the couple’s second child, a son.

News broke about her pregnancy in March when the actress debuted her baby bump during a casual walk, according to Us magazine.
They also have a five-year-old daughter, Arlo Day Brody, who was born a year-and-a-half after getting married in a private ceremony.
‘She’s the thing I’m most proud of and gives me the most joy,’ Brody, whose resume includes The O.C., confessed in an interview with GQ magazine in August 2019.
‘She’s just so dang awesome. It just gives you a new perspective in the best way –something to focus on that’s greater and more important than yourself.’
