Laura Whitmore posts retro polaroid snaps of her and fiancé Iain Stirling

She recently celebrated her three year relationship with her fiancé Iain Stirling by sipping champagne in a park.

And Laura Whitmore revealed how she was closer than ever with her beau after posting a collection of Polaroid snaps of the pair during a staycation on Friday. 

The TV host, 35, posted three pictures of herself and the Love Island narrator, 32, enjoying a seaside break to New Brighton, Merseyside, captioned ‘staycation 2020’.  

Holding the snaps and two seashells, offering a glimpse of her white broderie anglaise cuff, Laura posted a windswept selfie of the pair against a moody blue sky. 

The Love Island host wore a denim jacket with a white printed T-shirt as she swept her long blonde tresses from her face. 

A fresh-faced Laura kept her makeup to a minimum while Iain donned a waterproof jacket and signature square glasses on the seafront.  

In the selfie, the couple look relaxed as they posed on the beach while taking a break from their hectic schedule. 

They were also seen on Laura’s Instagram story soaking up the culture in the city with a visit to the Walker Art Gallery and Anfield stadium – home to Liverpool F.C.  

Laura posted a tongue-in-cheek picture of the pair donning red Liverpool F.C face masks outside Anfield, captioned: ‘What a romantic afternoon it was…’

However Iain could be seen enjoying the football tour and posted a picture with the Liverpool F.C emblem captioned: ‘You’ll never walk alone, but you will walk 2m apart.’  

Celebrating their three-year anniversary since they started dating last Wednesday, Laura shared a funny selfie of the couple.  

The blonde beauty lay on the grass beside Iain as he appeared engrossed in his phone in the image posted to her Instagram page.  

The couple celebrated the milestone occasion with a sweet champagne picnic in the park, joined by their maltipoo pooch Mick. 

Laura shared a snap of herself holding a small bottle of Moet champagne while tucking into a plate of bread, tomatoes and carrots in the park.

They appeared fully prepared for the meal, as Laura also posted a picture of her other half with a hamper full of cutlery and plates.

It’s been a big year for Laura and Iain after the comedian proposed in South Africa in February after the pair had filmed the winter series of Love Island. 

The couple met in 2016, but it wasn’t until the following summer that things turned romantic between them. 

Laura recently admitted that Iain procrastinated for so long in asking her for a date that she had to do it herself. 

Appearing on JD’s In The Duffle Bag podcast, Laura recalled: ‘When we first met he didn’t even hit on me, he was too nervous to hit on me!

‘I think he was intimidated by me. I remember Iain was too scared to ask me out so in the end I had to ask him out.

‘He used to send me random messages, DM me and ask me about my dog. It took nine months but we got there! I was like “let’s just go for a drink”. I think I had to make the moves on him.’
