Laura Dern, 53, pays homage to her Wild At Heart director David Lynch as she walks her dogs with son Ellery, 18, while wearing masks in Los Angeles
Los Angeles announced on Tuesday that the city would be on lockdown until August with some beaches and hiking trails opening up for exercise only.
And Laura Dern took full advantage of the reopened path on Wednesday morning during a walk with her son, Ellery, 18, in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of LA.
The 53-year-old Emmy winning actress followed safety measures with a mask and rocked a leather jacket.

Laura opted for a DAVID T-shirt – paying homage to David Lynch, the director who gave her her big break in 1986’s, Blue Velvet, and the 1990 comedy, Wild at Heart.
She teamed the look with a pair of boot cut denim jeans and Nike high-top sneakers.
The Big Little Lies star styled her blonde hair out naturally and appeared to be wearing very little to no makeup.

He wore a khaki colored hoodie and chino trousers for the outing. Laura is also the mom to daughter, Jaya, 15.
The actress shares both her kids with ex-husband, Ben Harper.
Laura and Ben began dating in 2000 when she met him at his concert. They welcomed Ellery the following year and Jaya in 2004.
The pair married in 2005 before calling it quits in 2010. Their divorce was finalized in September 2013.

Laura has been isolating at home with her two children, however, not all has gone to plan.
The Academy Award winner recently posted a photo of the strawberry shortcake she made herself for her children.
Unfortunately, the delicious-looking baked good wasn’t exactly a hit with.
‘Ok. So I tried to make a strawberry short cake of sorts. 1) it was slanted 2) I was proud 3) when I put it in front of my teenagers I called it “homespun” with a huge smile 4) it wasn’t good 5) all went down hill from there,’ she hilariously captioned the photo.
