But all seemed back to normal once again for Lamar Odom and Sabrina Parr as they celebrated their one-year engagement anniversary with a snap shared to her Instagram on Wednesday evening.
The fitness enthusiast who is based out of Cleveland, Ohio, detailed her long day making it to her beau’s side before sharing a quick kiss with the former NBA legend.

‘Made it in time to celebrate our 1-year engagement anniversary @lamarodom,’ she wrote in an Instagram story.
It’s unclear where the couple were staying, but Sabrina shared pictures of her airport adventure from earlier in the morning and also the couple checking into a hotel.
Lamar and Sabrina celebrated an engagement party in September and had made plans to wed in November 2021.
But Parr surprised her Instagram followers earlier this month when she revealed that she and Lamar had gone their separate ways.

‘Y’all know I’m honest and transparent so I have to be the first to let you guys know that I am no longer engaged to Lamar,’ she wrote..
She described it as a ‘difficult decision,’ but said it was in the interest of her children.
‘Lamar has some things that he alone has to work through,’ she continued. ‘I love him dearly but I am no longer able to be by his side while he seeks the help he so desperately needs.
‘I wish him all the best and I am asking that you pray for everyone involved….’ she concluded.

Parr’s ominous-sounding note was light on specifics as to why she and Odom had ended their relationship, especially following their joyous displays on social media over the summer.
The Lakers player appears to have last been seen on his ex-fiancée’s Instagram in late July, but he’s been conspicuously absent ever since.
In August, the two announced that they planned to marry in Miami in November of next year.
‘We’ve both experienced many relationships. Been married, divorced, you name it, we’ve been through it…’ Parr wrote on their Instagram announcement. ‘But this right here will be our LAST DANCE! Can’t wait to marry you big man.’
Odom had even gone to the extreme of having Parr’s lips tattooed on his neck, which he said was like a ‘wedding ring’ around his neck.
Sabrina had been an active presence in Lamar’s road to fitness while they quarantined together.

The basketball player infamously slipped into a coma in October 2015 after being discovered unconscious at a Las Vegas brothel.
He suffered multiple strokes, heart attacks and kidney failure in that period as a result of his extreme drug and alcohol abuse, though he has been steadily recovering since then.
On June 27, Parr posted a photo of Lamar wrapping an arm around her outside the Hippocrates Health Institute in Palm Beach, where he had been training and receiving therapy.
‘I’m out here in beautiful West Palm Beach supporting my baby @lamarodom while he is on his journey to get his mind, body & spirit healthier at @hippocratesinst !!!’ she wrote.
The personal trainer added that her then-fiancé was on an ‘all organic raw vegan’ diet and ‘working out everyday.’
‘His kids and their mom are here and they are all hoping to leave better than they came! . . I am so proud of you for your willingness in working towards getting better. I love you big man @lamarodom,’ she concluded.

He and Morales also had a third child, Jayden, who died in 2006 at 6 months from sudden infant death syndrome.
