Lady Gaga wears a pink sweater as she premieres a new song she wrote about registering to vote

She announced earlier this week that she would focus on helping Americans make a plan to cast their ballots for the November 3 general election.

And Lady Gaga was back again on Thursday with a new song she wrote about registering to vote.

The 34-year-old singer–songwriter played her piano and sang the new ‘single’ to direct her millions of followers to her partnership with TurboVote.org.

Civic engagement: Lady Gaga, 34, shared a new ‘sing-along’ song with her millions of social media followers to help them register to vote

Gaga  looked classy and elegant in pink sweater with her sleeves rolled up, along with a pair of black slacks.

She sported platinum blonde locks after rocking a dirty blonde look only a few days earlier, and she looked wore a pair of large black-frame eyeglasses.

As she had with her video from Wednesday, Gaga introduced herself by her real name, Stefani Germanotta.

‘I wrote a sing-along about voting,’ she began, before launching into the slow ballad, which sounded like a lullaby.

‘Do you know how to vote?/I know a place you can go,’ she began singing, before introducing TurboVote in the lyrics.

‘I know this is cheesy,’ she continued singing with a knowing look, before repeating the website address one final time.

Gaga titled her song ‘The Voting Sing-a-long’ in her caption, adding, ‘I know this is cheesy…but ladygaga.turbovote.org is easy. This is my new single. Don’t give up ….it’s important your voice is heard!’

‘For the next 21 days I want to talk to you as Stefani. It’s with that name that I’m gonna vote early in California on my ballot,’ she continued.

Her new focus on voting follows news that Gaga will begin shooting her next big film project as early as March.

She’ll be starring in Gucci as Patrizia Reggiani, who was convicted of paying a hitman to murder her husband Maurizio Gucci in 1995.

The crime film will be helmed by legendary director Ridley Scott, who finished principal photography this week on his upcoming historical drama The Last Duel, which stars Matt Damon, Adam Driver, Jodie Comer and Ben Affleck, and features a screenplay written by Damon and Affleck with producer Nicole Holofcener.

Although Gaga has had multiple small television roles before, in addition to appearing in two seasons of American Horror Story, her biggest role to date was in 2018’s A Star Is Born, which she appeared in opposite Bradley Cooper, who also directed.

She was nominated for Best Actress at the Academy Awards and went home with the trophy for Best Original Song.
