Kyly Clarke shows off her impressive Muay Thai boxing skills at the gym

Working out some frustration? Kyly Clarke shows off her impressive Muay Thai boxing skills at the gym – following split from Michael and House Rules ratings flop

She’s been through a tumultuous few months since announcing her split from husband Michael in February.

But Kyly Clarke, 38, didn’t let her personal woes get in the way of a good workout as she hit the gym for a Muay Thai boxing session on Thursday.

The House Rules judge posted footage of her intensive training session to Instagram, while sharing an inspiring message about fitness.

In the video, the mother-of-one pulled no punches as she pounded and kicked her trainer Tiziano Sguerso’s punching mitts.

‘Your fitness is 100% mental, your body won’t go where your mind won’t take it,’ she wrote in the caption.

Kyly flaunted her svelte physique in a pair of high-waisted leggings and a matching black sports bra.

The former grid-girl pulled her long brunette locks into a high ponytail, seemingly going makeup free for the sweaty session.

Kyly’s post comes two weeks since the grand finale of House Rules: High Stakes – the show for which she acted as a judge – bombed in the ratings.

The Channel Seven program, which failed to get over 600,000 metro viewers, was beaten by Channel Nine’s The Voice and Channel Ten’s MasterChef by a signifiant margin.

Meanwhile, Kyly and her ex-husband Michael are in the middle of a divorce estimated to be worth $40million, but remain on friendly terms for the sake of their daughter Kelsey-Lee, four.

The couple parted ways in September last year after seven years of marriage, but they didn’t announce their breakup until February.

‘After living apart for some time, we have made the difficult decision to separate as a couple, amicably,’ they said in a joint statement at the time.

After confirming their separation, reports surfaced that Michael was dating fashion designer Pip Edwards, with whom he had been friends for more than a decade.

While they never publicly acknowledged they were a couple, the pair are understood to have dated for several months after the Clarkes’ split.

But things are said to have ended swiftly in early April when Michael decided he couldn’t handle the publicity that came with being linked to the P.E Nation founder.
