Kristen Bell sports cornrows while checking on renovations at $4M mansion in LA

Kristen Bell was spotted this week swinging by the renovation process of her $4.3 million mansion in Los Angeles.

The 40-year-old Frozen star made a fashion statement during her outing, slipping into a blue tie-dye T-shirt and wearing her blonde hair in cornrows.

She bought the English Revival mansion in 2017 with husband Dax Shepherd, with whom she shares daughters Lincoln, seven, and Delta, five.

The four-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bathroom compound is spread over 4,048 square feet and comes with a guesthouse.

After sinking $4.3 million into the property three years ago, Kristen and Dax have been deep in the remodeling process.

While their mansion is being done up, the family are hunkering down at a separate home in Los Feliz amid the ongoing pandemic.

When she was glimpsed popping over to the renovation site this week, Kristen made sure to take the precaution of wearing a mask.

Located in the same gated community as Angelina Jolie’s home, the mansion was built in 1922 and designed by Arthur R. Kelly who also did the Playboy Mansion.

Dax confessed on his podcast in September that he had recently suffered a drug relapse after remaining sober for 16 years.

He fell off the wagon after he began taking Vicodin to manage the pain from a recent motorcycle accident, but he is now clean again.

Kristen appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show last month and said of Dax’ relapse that ‘everybody’s up against their own demons.’

She praised Dax for his honesty, saying that ‘we’re going back to therapy’ and noting that ‘I will continue to stand by him ’cause he’s very, very worth it.’
