Supermarket shelves across Australia are being stripped bare as fears grow over the spread of the deadly coronavirus.

And on Tuesday, Jackie ‘O’ Henderson revealed she was getting anxious as her neighbours continue to stockpile essential items, resulting in a shortage of toilet paper.

‘I’m starting to panic, this is all I have left,’ the 45-year-old radio host captioned a photo on Instagram of two and a half rolls of toilet paper.

Jackie ‘O’ Henderson revealed on Tuesday that she was ‘starting to panic’ over coronavirus as she was down to her last two toilet rolls and her local supermarkets had been cleared out of basic items by Sydney stockpilers and ‘doomsday preppers’

The mother-of-one wrote ‘screw you doomsday preppers’, as she spoke about the luxury item being completely sold out in locations near to her Sydney residence.

Adding humour to her post, she added: ‘The irony is, when I panic I need to poo.’

Jackie then jokingly suggested alternatives to toilet paper as the shower, newspapers, soap, sponges, money or leaves.

Six more people tested positive to COVID-19 in New South Wales on Tuesday – including Australia’s second case of human-to-human transmission – bringing the number of infected to 40 across the country.

Former Reserve Bank of Australia board member Warwick McKibbin said a global pandemic could wipe out 68million people worldwide, including 96,000 Australians.

Even a mild pandemic could kill 21,000 Australians and 15million globally, he said.
