Kesha makes use of quarantine and shares mini-song Home Alone that’s dedicated to Macaulay Culkin

Kesha makes use of quarantine downtime and shares drum-heavy mini-song Home Alone on social media

Kesha is using her art to help pass the time while under home quarantine during the coronavirus pandemic.

The songstress, 33, took to social media and posted a fun, 30-second mini-song called Home Alone that was inspired by the 1990 classic film of the same name and its star Macaulay Culkin.

‘I’ve been bored at home so I made a song for u animals!!! And a little video,’ she explained in the caption.

‘It’s called HOME ALONE… dedicated to all of you sexy people hanging at home…..alone. and also dedicated to the one and only @culkamania.’

Quarantine time: Kesha posted the mini-song, Home Alone, on social media on Thursday

The video begins with a quick clip of Daniel Stern’s character Marv and Culkin’s Kevin, saying ‘hello’ as he points a gun into the camera.

The pop star then proceeds to prance around in her bra, underwear, knee-high socks and a nearly unbuttoned blue denim shirt.

There’s shots of her dancing in her kitchen, frolicking in the bedroom and sprawled out near a staircase.

‘You know I’m home, alone  / Macaulay, ‘Caulay Culkin / And boo, I’m bored / My cellular is broken,’ she sings in a mono-tone delivery over a drum-heavy, thumping beat.

‘I’m in the mood, I’m in the zone / Honey, I’m not joking / Now ring me up on my home telephone, ring.’

At one point her pet cat makes makes an appearance in the staircase shot.

There’s also lines like:  ‘I’m setting booby traps in case you’re a bad guy /  I’m reading bookies, baking cookies in my thigh-highs.’

She ends the little ditty with the line, ‘we’ll have a fun time, fun time, right?’

Just last week, Kesha helped pass the time by sharing a clip from a never-before-heard track called Nic Cage, which she expresses her fandom for the Oscar-winning actor.

Kesha has had two number one albums on the US Billboard 200 chart with Animal (2010) and Rainbow (2017).
