The always eccentric Katy Perry is bestowing an early Christmas ‘TREE(T)’ on her fans.

The 36-year-old singer released a soulful rendition of I’ll Be Home For Christmas mixed with her song Cozy Little Christmas on Instagram with a playful video twist.

Dressed up like a Christmas tree in honor of the Disney Holiday Sing-along, the video follows Katy’s journey as a freshly plucked tree strapped to the hood of a car, before morphing into a heavily decorated addition to a family home.

Highlighting both the jovial nature of the holiday with a bit of tension per her lyrics,  ‘Kids are cryin’, dogs are barkin,’ she tries to embody the multiple emotions that come with family gatherings.

Katy’s first Christmas as a mom – as she welcomed Daisy Dove with fiance Orlando Bloom in late August – Perry has a whole new outlook on the holiday this year as her family grows.

‘Popular misconception: being a mom isn’t a full time job.’

‘Part 2: when a mom finally goes back to work (whatever profession they do) it’s not like they been coming from months of ‘time off…’ she’s coming from a full time job… of being a mom, lol.’
