Katie Price’s daughter Bunny, 5, sports long fake nails despite recent outrage from fans

Despite her fans reacting with outrage after she gifted her five-year-old daughter Bunny a plethora of make-up products, Katie Price seems to have ignored the outcry. 

In video footage from Katie’s son Junior’s 15th birthday party, Bunny was seen parading around wearing long, fake grown-up nails.

The tot – who Katie shares with ex Kieran Hayler along with youngest son Jett, six – was seen embracing Junior, arms around his neck, nails on full display.

Bunny displayed the creamy pink nails – which looked a lot like the ones her mother was wearing.

Other than the manicures aplenty, the soiree was a realtively casual affair, being held in lockdown.

The sartorial theme appeared to mostly comprises of tracksuits and hoodies. 

Former glamour model Katie’s decision to bestow the youngster with her very own stash of cosmetics sparked fury from some of Katie’s Instagram followers on Saturday who questioned whether Bunny was too young to have her own extensive make-up collection.

In a video shared on Katie’s Instagram at the weekend, an ecstatic Bunny could barely contain her excitement as she showed off a huge pile of make-up including lip gloss, mascara and nail polish.

Bunny looked adorable in a pair of bubblegum pink pyjamas as she delightedly sat on the floor in front of her new treats. 

And it appeared as though she had already tested out her new cosmetics as she donned bright pink lip gloss, mascara and blusher for the video.

Filming her daughter, Katie, 42, asked: ‘Bunny, tell me why you’re really happy?’

To which Bunny excitedly squealed: ‘Because I’ve got all this make-up!’ before bouncing up and down on her knees.

‘Because mummy’s brought you all that make-up?’ Katie said, before zooming in on the pile of goodies.

As with many girls who loves wearing their mother’s make-up, Bunny then proceeded to show off her new gifts, holding up pink nail polishes and mascara for the camera.

As Katie asked ‘do you love it all?’, Bunny proceeded to jump up and down again before Katie informed her that she had make-up brushes to give her as well, leaving Bunny even more exhilarated.

Captioning the cute video, mum-of-five Katie penned: ‘Love bunny and now she doesn’t have to ruin mine.’

However, not everyone was enthusiastic about Katie and Bunny’s make-up haul as some hit out at the reality star for allowing her young daughter to have so much cosmetics, with some stating: ‘she’s still a child’.

Taking to the comments, one person wrote: ‘A little lipgloss and nail polish al little girls like but why are u giving her all that mascara foundation etc etc. She’s a child.’

While another agreed: ‘I don’t think there’s any need for her to use the foundation/ concealer.’

‘Dressing up is fun but Bunny seems a bit too excited to try and be like her Mum. Let children enjoy being children as they’ve got a lifetime to cope with everything that goes with being an adult’, shared a third.

‘Adult makeup and chewing gum? These posts are not only worrying, but it’s really sad to see. Stop trying to be your kids friend and be their parent!’ ranted a fourth user.

With a further person adding: ‘Lippy, blusher, eyeshadow is all she needs. Kids play Dress up is fun but all in all she’s still a child and doesn’t need all that makeup…kids should be kids they grow up too fast!’

However, several were quick to defend the star, highlighting that it is harmless fun and that most little girls love to experiment with their mum’s make-up.

One person said: ‘Oh my goodness ppl lighten up. Jesus. Just a little girl playing dress up’.

While another firmly agreed: ‘Oh that’s what little girls do my daughter is the same! Rather than ruin the good stuff she has some stuff to play with! All little girls put on their mummy’s lippy… don’t listen to the haters! She can still read a book and play with make up.’

‘you always get one who has to act like they are prom and proper, making your child happy doesn’t make you a bad mum, letting your child experiment also doesn’t make you a bad mum..’ said another fan defending Katie.

With another adding: ‘What’s with all the negative nellys on here? Little girls love make up! I highly doubt Katie let’s her out with a full face on.’

Katie shares Bunny with her ex-husband Kieran Hayler. They also have six-year-old son Jett. 

The lovely mother-daughter moment comes amid Katie’s drama with ex Kris Boyson, who on Friday claimed her had ‘full and unedited’ CCTV footage of her outside his home after she had earlier shared a video to ‘prove’ she didn’t try to force her way in.

On Friday, Katie shared footage of the moment she confronted the personal trainer, 31, at his home he shares with girlfriend Bianca Gascoigne, after the incident was reported to police.

However, Kris later hit back with claims that he has his own footage of the confrontation, as he fumed: ‘Enough is enough now.’

Taking to Instagram stories on Friday, Kris shared a video of his extensive home security set-up, featuring cameras positioned at various points around him home.

Captioning the clip, he wrote: ‘If you’re going to release CCTV at least make sure the opposite party hasn’t got the FULL UNEDITED audio version from inside and outside the property first!’

He then added: ‘There’s only so far you can go before you have to say… Enough is Enough now!’ 

Katie’s representative also told MailOnline that the police’s investigation has been closed, and she’s now focused on her upcoming meeting with Parliament regarding Harvey’s Law.

In the video obtained by The Sun, Katie can be seen going to Kris’ front door with her daughter Princess, 13, in tow, knocking on the door and peering into his front window.
