Katie Price covers her foot casts in glitter before going on a SUNBED as she hits back at trolls

She’s preparing to have ‘major surgery’ on her feet later this week after breaking them in a horrific accident while on holiday in Turkey.

And Katie Price got her foot casts covered in glitter at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London on Monday before going on a sunbed. 

The mother-of-five, 42, also hit back at trolls after they accused her of faking her broken feet following a horrific accident in Turkey. 

Taking to her Instagram Story, Katie shared a fun video of her blue and pink foot casts being covered in glitter by nurses at the hospital.

She said: ‘Look at that glitter on that foot! The foot that no one believes is broken!

‘Can you believe no one believes I’ve broken my feet and ankles?!’

To which one of the nurses added: ‘Now you can put this up saying, “Now do you believe me?”

With Katie replying: ‘Yeah exactly. Love that!’

She also captioned the video with: ‘My new colourful casts despite people not believing I’ve really broken my feet I really have life changing injuries.’

And after her hospital appointment, Katie was straight to the sunbed where she shared a photo of herself tanning with her new foot casts on display.

She joked in the caption: ‘Taking the tan lines to a new level,’ followed by crying laughing emojis.  

Katie added that it as a ‘luxury’ sunbed and that she had ‘banging tunes’ playing during her session. 

Later in the day, the former glamour model posted a gushing tribute to her boyfriend Carl Woods, 31, as she thanked him for being ‘supportive’.

Katie shared a video of herself being pushed in a wheelchair by pal Chris Harris while Carl walked in the background.

She wrote: ‘@chrisharris_ pushing me and my gorgeous hunky boyfriend @carljwoods being the caring supportive man through all this,’ followed by a heart and rose emoji. 

Katie sustained her horrific injuries during a ‘silly accident’ while holidaying in Turkey last month with Carl and her children Princess, 13, and Junior, 15. 

She was rushed to A&E at the time and told that she might not walk for three to six months.

Since her return to the UK Katie has had several doctors appointments and it is now thought that she will have surgery in the next couple of days. 

A source told The Sun: ‘Katie’s surgery has been rushed forward to this week because doctors say her injuries are really bad – as severe as they could be.  

‘She’s going in this week and the surgery will be a huge job. She won’t be able to walk for at least six months.’

‘Katie’s devastated, obviously, but also hopeful that the sooner the surgery happens, the quicker she can start on the road to recovery.’ 

When contacted by MailOnline, a representative for the star said: ‘Katie I can confirm will be undergoing major surgery this week to correct her injuries sustained on her recent holiday to Turkey.’ 

Katie explained what happened to her feet on her YouTube channel. She said: ‘Silly me, at my age, should calm things down. Basically, silly little accident. I was running and jumped over a wall, as it was a little shortcut, and didn’t really judge the height.

‘I just sort of fell funny on my ankles and I fractured the hairline on my heels and stuff. The hospital here wanted to operate and wanted to put pins in and stuff. Because I’m away, I’d rather wait until I get home.’ 

She continued: ‘It’s the most painful thing ever. Like when I was trying to put the cast on, I was screaming in pain. They said I won’t be able to walk for three to six months.’  

The TV personality had to spend a night in hospital after fracturing both ankles after she jumped off a wall at the holiday theme park, Land Of Legends.

According to doctors, she will need pins in her feet which will undoubtedly be another agonising experience.

Katie thought she might have to cut her holiday short to head home with her Love Island beau, Carl.

However, she decided to endure the pain and ride it out in Turkey for the sake of her children so that they could enjoy the rest of their holiday.  

Carl has been by Katie’s side throughout the ordeal, and as they arrived back home on Wednesday it’s been revealed the smitten pair are planning to move in together.

A source told The Sun: ‘She was talking about moving in with Carl before the holiday to Turkey, and being together 24/7 has only encouraged her to officially move in together.

‘They’re house-hunting together in Essex this week and can’t wait to live together. They’re extremely loved up and her kids have given him the thumbs up. She’s over the moon.’

A representative for Katie confirmed the plans, explaining: ‘As Katie is temporarily wheelchair-bound, something no one could have foreseen, she has voiced the possibility of looking for a property that would work better for her wheelchair access and mobility scooter.

‘Carl as Katie’s carer would be living with her. There is a lot to consider: Katie’s rehabilitation, the children, school, respective family, work commitments.

‘Essex would be a probable location – Katie however remains in her current rented property in Surrey.’
