Katharine McPhee carried one of her precious chihuahuas in her quilted leather handbag as she stepped out in Los Angeles this Wednesday.
The 36-year-old made sure to take the precaution of keeping her face mask on amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
She slipped into a stylish sky blue button-down dress redolent of the 1950s, complete with a colllar and half-sleeves.

Sweeping her hair back into a low do, she carried two bags – the black and white one with her dog in it and a pale pink leather purse.
The Smash star, who married 70-year-old music mogul David Foster last June, rounded off her look with white flats.
Katharine is younger than her two new stepdaughters Erin and Sara Foster, who are public about their friendly relationship with her.
Erin, Sara, and their 34-year-old sister Jordan Foster recently gave an interview to People where Erin joked that their ‘biggest issue’ with Katharine ‘is how hot she is.’

After the couple rang in their first wedding anniversary last month David told Us Weekly: ‘She’s really magical and able to float in and out of all the family dynamics.’
The father of five said of his new wife: ‘It’s amazing to watch because that’s a huge talent – being able to navigate my life.’
He said: ‘She’s opinionated, super-talented, and along with that super-talent comes a big brain, and she’s got a lot to say. It’s challenging, but in the best way possible.’
David told the magazine that his wife ‘has to keep pushing to make me answer things that I don’t want to answer, which is great.’

The silver fox, whose ex-wives include Yolanda Hadid, said Katharine’s ‘navigation skills are better than anybody’s I’ve ever seen and she’s super-evolved.’
He declined to say whether he and Katharine were planning to have any children of their own, though she has said in the past she wants them.
Meanwhile David said: ‘I think maybe we should make a record together. I would love to and I think she would love to, and I think it would be really a cool thing to do. She has a great voice. We could make a great stream.’
David and Katharine married in London last year where she had been playing in the West End production of the Sara Bareilles musical Waitress.
